The remix album CEASE AND DESIST features his stunning remix of “Angels” by Wax Poetic (featuring Norah Jones) closing out the album. It was this remix that initially drew my attention to him a couple of years ago. The track listing for the album is as follows:

POSITIVELY DARK

Two albums worth of FREE MP3s are posted here at Positively Dark’s site. I don’t know much about them other than they are extremely generous… and talented. I’ve only listened to the first album, XIIC, but find it very atmospheric and pleasing. I’d say it’s a cross between ATB and Enigma with maybe some Chicane thrown in for good measure. While it purports to be “techno”, there’s too much power guitar to technically be techno. The best of the bunch (off XIIC) is “Mermaid”.

If you trust my taste and liked my previous pick, Emorej, then you’ll like what you hear from Postively Dark.
