Whaddaya think: yea or nay on adding album art to posts where appropriate? I think it helps break-up the monotony of the text only posts. How about you?

MORCHEEBA >> Lighten Up
God, has it really been 26 days since my last post??!
I have not forsaken you, my little chickadees. In my defense, all I can say is: Have you ever needed a break from your responsibilities? Even those responsibilities that you love and are self-imposed? I did. I kept logging in to create posts and never published them. BUT… I have been collecting fine FREE and LEGAL music to post here once I returned from my voluntary hiatus. All I can say is it would behoove you to subscribe to my RSS feed so that you’ll be alerted immediately when MOPGTMFM gets updated.
And, in the spirit of the holiday, I’d like to say that I am especially thankful for all the Guide’s readers out there who email me, post comments and let me know I’m not operating in a vacuum.
So, without further ado:
Morcheeba’s always been a band that’s hit or miss with me. 2000’s FRAGMENTS OF FREEDOM was the last time I gave them any attention. And while they’ve continued to grow and change and progress musically, that “pop” sound seemed to elude them… until now. This summer’s release, THE ANTIDOTE, has what their bio describes as Morcheeba “[flaunting] a late sixties/early seventies influenced” sound. And it can be heard in full-force on “Lighten Up”. It’s shiny happy pop.
