IMOGEN HEAP >> Hide and Seek
Salon.com’s Audiofile posts the relatively new-ish single (as a FREE MP3) and video for “Hide and Seek” by ex-Frou Frou frontwoman Imogen ‘Immi’ Heap.
Frou Frou’s DETAILS was one of my favorite albums of the ’00s, showcasing krafty, accessible electronica from Guy Sigsworth (probably best known for his work with Björk and Madonna) with the unusual but pleasing vocal stylings of Immi. And, no, I didn’t discover them through that wretched movie’s soundtrack which became popular about a year after DETAILS was released.
Of the four tracks that I’ve heard from her impending solo album, SPEAK FOR YOURSELF, I can safely say you can expect the same… but different.
