AOL Music
October 3rd, 2005
Once the scorn of internet users everywhere, the recently relaunched America Online dot com portal has a brand new Music section [ AOL Music ] with more than two dozen FREE MP3s available for downloading. Being the creature of habit that I am, the best of the current bunch, imho, is Andy Caldwell’s “Brand New Day (Peak Time Mix)“. He always treats House music right.
It’s nice to see AOL step-up to the plate and offer us something substantial besides a deluge of direct-mail CDs with their crappy software on it. If I had a dime for every time they mailed me one, well, suffice it to say, I’d have some mad money lying around. Who’da thunk that corporate America might actually give us something for nothing??

Do I have to submit info *EVERY* fricking time I want to download a song from AOL?
I took a pass on the AOL site since I seem to be able to find most
of their songs elsewhere without the hassle.

I forgot to mention that, A.C. Seeing as how I only downloaded one track, it didn’t bother me so much. But leave it to AOL to do something only 3/4 right (or in this case, 75% aggravating).
