Molly O’ picks: Bob Gould’s “Body of Song” : I’m a big fan of another track off Bob’s new album – also entitled BODY OF SONG – that I was clued into by Fluxblog way back in May, “(Shine Your) Light Love Hope“. It has a catchy pop/rock sensibility plus interesting vocoder effects you don’t often find in male-fronted outings. “Body of Song” is more straightforward rock sound and Bob’s voice is also pleasing without any additional effects.

Be sure to check out Japanese trio PINE*am, too. I’ve been digging their scene since being turned on to “Gymnopedie 0.1” earlier this month over at Between Thought and Expression blog.
